Is Beef Stew the Answer to the Winter Blues?

beefstewAhhhhhhh…for me and many of my customers it’s just what the doctor ordered on a cold and snowy day. It really jazzes up the winter blues. (I might be able to play that tune on my sax!)

I’ve been crafting my beef stew since early fall this year and the response has been fantastic! Have YOU tried it yet? I think I may have beef stew FANS…so how about someone starting a Beef Stew Fan Page huh? I can deal with the ego trip if you’ve got the time. LOL

I’ve been sampling the red wine inventory in the process of making my beef stew. Oh…I didn’t tell you? It has red wine in it…not so you’d know it, but without it you’d definitely taste the difference. I’ve tried Pinot Noir, Chianti, Shiraz and a Malbec. I’m very fond of the results using the Chianti and Pinot Noir, but the other two don’t hold up in the cooking as well, so I’ll have the Shiraz and Malbec in a glass instead thank you. So when you dig into a hot, steamy bowl of my beef stew with a butter grilled biscuit…you’ll also be sampling part of our wine inventory. A glass of wine with your beef stew?
